Newsroom Convergence: A Shotgun Wedding? The School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Kent State University is pleased - we think - to announce the marriage of the student newspaper, television station, radio station and magazine to ... um .... each other. The nuptials took place shortly before the arrival of a bouncing new Collaborative Web Site. The happy couple group and their kin have taken up residence in the Converged Newsroom in the beautiful and expanded Franklin Hall on the Kent State Campus, where they are entertaining visitors, and no second thoughts.
