These ideas came from the 34 teachers who participated in the ASNE-Reynold High School Journalism Institute. Each day, they submitted three ideas and got feedback. These represent each fellows’ top three idea. They may be universal or they may seem to apply only to one school, but think about how they could be tweaked and focused for YOUR school. For instance, you may not live in NYC and have Muslim holidays added to your calendar, but what IS the situation for those not of a the Christian faith? DO they get their religious holidays off?
