    THE GREEN GANG

Christie Hudelson teaches journalism and English at Joe T. Robinson High School in Little Rock, Ark., and serves as the adviser to both the yearbook and newspaper. This is her first year at Robinson High School and her seventh year as a teacher. She earned a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Arkansas and a master’s degree in English from Arkansas Tech University. When not spending time with her husband and four children, Hudelson enjoys writing poetry, reading, and cooking.

Loradona May grew up in Aloha, Ore., and is an English, art and journalism teacher at North Douglas High School in Drain, Ore. She earned her bachelor’s degree in teaching from Western Oregon University. In 2007-08, May resurrected the campus newspaper, the Smoke Signal, after a hiatus. Aside from teaching, May enjoys reading, writing, painting, travel, and is planning a trip to Japan.


Carol Johns teaches English, journalism and a test-taking skills and strategies class at Hilmar (Calif.) High School. She is the adviser of the Stinger newspaper and the Waukeen yearbook. Johns earned her master’s degree in cross cultural teaching and her bachelor’s degree in liberal studies at National University. Her hobbies are reading and crafts.



Jamielynn Quisano is a teacher at James Campbell High School in Ewa Beach, Hawaii. She’s been teaching for seven years and is the adviser of Ewa Naupaka, the school’s newspaper and the yearbook Pohaku Makamae. Quisano has been teaching yearbook for the last five years and has just finished a challenging year as a newspaper adviser. She earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and her master’s degree in secondary education from the University of Phoenix, Honolulu. Quisano enjoys spending time with her friends and family, traveling, and watching television, especially all of the reality shows.
