Exploring the relationship between Kent State University and the Town of Kent

On May 4, 1970, our nation changed in 13 seconds. It took just 13 seconds for four students to lose their lives all in the name of youth, authority and confusion. Now 38 years later, some say the wounds of May 4th are still open. This project explores the relationships between Kent State University and the town of Kent, Ohio, as they relate to the events of May 1970. Our project explores this topic with the intent to promote a better understanding of the relationship between the town and the university.
