Need-based grants and loans are available through the Office of Student Financial Aid. Information is included in Kent State's "ViewBook," which also contains an application form and general information about Kent. Even more information is in the Kent State Student Financial Aid Office "Access to Education" folder.
The earlier you apply for financial aid, the earlier you hear from the financial aid office. Students who file a "Free Application for Federal Student Aid" before March 15 get priority. Aid might not be available if you apply late in the school year. You may contact the Student Financial Aid Office by phone at (330) 672-2972.
If you are an incoming freshman, you may be eligible for several Kent State University and JMC scholarships.
Visit the Student Financial Aid Office and Free Application for Student Financial Aid (FAFSA) web sites for more information.
