gets journalism award: Fidler joins U of Missouri Roger Fidler, former professor of JMC and head of the Institute for CyberInformation, has left the faculty to work with the School of Journalism at the University of Missouri. Students win Knight awards Kent JMC students won five of the six John S. Knight Scholarships presented by the Akron Press Club. Winners included Erin Galletta, Kathryn Hilbert, Shannon Peluso and Tara Pringle. Elizabeth Baldwin won the Ludel Sauvageot Scholarship. They received their $3,000 scholarships at a luncheon in late spring.
